Mark tells THE (Real Ruler's) "Good-News". Chapter 6 [Pericope 32]

Pericope 32 - Famili-arity...disparity

And he went out from there and came into
his home-town (where he grew up since a boy),
with his disciples following, as do
disciples of a Rabbi, it's their joy.

And having come the Sabbath, he began
to teach in synagogue, and heaps on hear-
ing were astonished saying: "To this man,
has come all this (with wisdom too), from where?"

And "What's this wisdom, given to this one,
that miracles are even done by his..
his hands, those of the carpenter, the son
of Mary, brother of James, Joe, Judas,

and Simon. Aren't his sister's here with us?"
And thus they took offence at him, the clowns.
And Jesus said to them, "A prophet is
not without honour; ‘cept in his hometown,

and in his fam’ly, and in his household."
And there he could do none, no works of pow’r
at all, except he healed a few we’re told
- sick folk, that’s when he’d laid hands on the(m/ir brow?).

And though at times he marvelled at God’s good-
-ness; knowing now the folk that we’d become;
he’s rarely then amazed at what folk would
mess, curse, or bless, because he wasn’t dumb.

And this is one of those few times he    was
amazed, or marvelled, when he met the fact
within humanity, and that’s because
of anti-faith! (Is that just faith that lacked?)

Mark tells THE (Real Ruler's) "Good-News". Chapter 5 [Pericope 30 & 31]

Pericope 30 & 31 - Duo of dear daughters' dire difficulty dozen get passed-over

And having done a pass-over again;
that’s in the boat, and ..to the other side
well Jesus, a great crowd gathers to him,
and he is by the sea when they arrive.

Here comes one of the rulers of the syn-
agogue, named Jairus, who then having seen
him, falls down at his feet, & then begins
imploring greatly, and he is saying:

“My little daughter’s at her very end.
Please would you come and lay your hands on her,
so that she might be cured, be a friend.
And she will live, of that I am quite sure.

So he went with him, and was followed by
a great crowd which was pressing in on him.

Some woman with a flow of blood inside
for twelve long years, greatly suff’ring whims

of doctors, having spent all that she had,
and benefiting nothing, but grew worse,
when having heard of Jesus, in the crowd
came up behind and touched his clothes1. Rehearse:

She would be cursed by any Jew back then.
For she'd have made him unclean by that touch.
The law said she's unclean; and clothing when
worn by a man, extended him that much.

Her own self-talk was that "If I can touch
his clothing even, then I'll be made whole.
And straight away her blood flow dried that much
that she knew in her body (& her soul

that life was back on track,) that she was healed
and freed from this affliction. But about
then, straight-away, this Jesus having feel-ed
or known within himself, pow'r flowing out,

has turned within the crowd and said, “Who touched
my clothing?” His disciples were saying
“You see the crowd is pressing very much
and in on you, how can you say this thing:-

- “Who touched me?” But still he was looking ‘round
to see the person who had done this thing.
So then the woman scared and trembling sound-
ly, knowing what had happened to her, flings

herself down there before him, tells him all
the truth of things, the story as it was.
Then he says to her (best as they recalled;
“My) daughter, it’s your faith that’s healed you ‘coz

I didn’t do a thing, you did it all.
Now I release you. Go in peace, you’re found!
Be blessed by me and certainly be whole,
may this affliction never way you down!

While he’s still speaking, now, some people come
from ruler of the synagogue's abode,
& say "Your daughter's dead, .." and then say some-
thing like .."Don't let yourself become a load.."

"..unto this busy teacher man. Pull out!"
He's lucky that that daughter of young Jes-
us modelled how to live like love's about.
To help him not to cave in, - 'case he freez-

-is; Jesus having heard this spoken word
says to the leader of the synagogue,
"No fe-ar, only trust!" Don't do "the bird".
And he allowed no-one to follow, jog

along with him, except Peter, and James..
unto the house of ruler 'v synagogue
(..& with the brother of James, John) he came
and he beholds commotion and what not,

with weeping and great wailing - a fune'ral,
and having entered in he says to them
"Why this commotioning & weeping? Well,
the child is not dead, but asleep." So then

they started laughing at him (they were wild).
But he throws them all out, and takes with him
the father and the mother of the child,
and his companions, and they go on in

to where the chi'ld was. And holding the
hand of the chi'ld, then he says to her:
"Talitha koum", which is to say "Girl-y,
I say to you, arise, get up, be stirred."

And straightaway the girly was raised up,
arose, and walked about, for she was aged
twelve years. And straightaway they're overcome -
pure ecstasy, enormously amazed!

And he instructed strictly (greatly) them,
that no-one should know anything of this,
he said to them to give her some food then.
I wonder what she ate - that little Miss?

1. Possibilities: The Lady & the culture & the prophecy!
The people who touched Jesus for healing (Mark 3:10; 6:56), and the lady who touched Jesus for healing (Mark 5:28-30), may act on the basis of an old Jewish legend:
* In Leviticus the Law stipulated  that God’s people should wear clothes with hems (K’naaff), from which tassels (tzitzit) could be sewn, to remind the wearers that they were God’s holy people, and that they should pray. . These later became Jewish prayer shawls.
* Malachi 4:2 says that one day the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its K’naaf (= wings or rays (as well as hem)). Malachi was the last prophet, and spoke hundreds of years before Jesus.
* Some people may have thought that this spoke of Messiah, who when he comes would have healing in his K’naaf, the hem of his prayer shawl.
When the lady tells her whole embarrassing story, she maybe simply “touching” him, or she maybe identifying him as Messiah, and trusting God’s goodness in coming forward. She is pronounced free from her sickness by this powerful Rabbi, in public view. She is now healed, clean & able to join in with public social life and worship.

Mark tells THE (Real Ruler's) "Good-News". Chapter 5 [Pericope 29]

Pericope 29 -

He leads and breeds not creeds but reads the needs.

His power is now our chance to be/free/see/...

And they came ..to the other side.. of the
Sea, to the region of the Gerasenes.
And having left the boat, immediately,
a man out of the tombs with an unclean

ol’ spirit, met him. His home was within
the tombs, and now no longer any  chains
were able to help, even binding him,
for he had often been bound, as restraints,

with chains and shackles. He’d torn chains in two
and smashed the shackles. No-one could subdue
him any longer. All night, all day through,
he cried out, in the mountains and the tombs,

& cut himself with stones. Could folk do more?
And having seen Yeshua from afar
he ran, then fell down on his knees before
Him. Cried in an enormous voice, then asked:

“What’s it? - to me? - or you? Jesus, the Son
of God Most High? By God, I ask you here,
to not torment me more. For he’d begun
to say “Get out from this man, unclean spir-

it.” Next he's asking him, "What is your name?
And he is saying to him,"Legion is
my name, for we are many." He then came
to begging (many times), about regions:

that he would not send them out of that one.
Now there was, near the mountain, an enor-
mous herd of pigs a-feeding. They'd begun
to beg him, saying "send us, we implore.,

you, into them, so we can then entwine.”
And he allowed them, then the unclean spir-
its, having gone out, went into the swine.
The herd (about two thousand pigs are here),

it sped down that steep bank into the sea,
and there in that same sea, they all were drowned.
And those a-feeding them, fled heralding
to both the city, and country un-towned.

So folk come out to see what has occurred.
And then they come to Jesus and they see
the demonized one sitting, clothed, demurred,
& “sound of mind” - who used to have that Le-

gion, and they were afraid. And those who’d seen
it told them how it happened to the bloke
so demonized, and ‘bout the pigs (who’d been).
They started to implore him, (yes, they spoke

like Legion’s demons did before on knees)
to now depart from their own region then!
And Jesus having entered boat on seas,
found more implor-ing happened once again:

the demonized one asked to stay with him.
And he did not allow him, but he says
“Go to your home, and to your own, un-dimmed,
report how much the Lord did, how he cares,

and he had mercy on you, whom he touched.”
The man left, and began to herald in
the region of the Ten Towns, just how much...
(all were amazed what) Jesus did for him.

And did you catch the small equation made,
(or else that Hebrew “partnership” mindset
that understands authority as laid
upon us by the author, so we get

as humans to rule over God’s good world
with God as LORD, and we his rep’s. put here
to rule as underlords, as we’ve been told
to do, by him our LORD & GOD we “fear”.

This man sees “Lord” as title (not just Caesar’s
- yet someone who commands a legion out)..
and tells the Ten-towns Region about Jesus.
Now, is the mantra of ol’ Romea in doubt?

a The mantra of the Roman Imperial Cult: “Caesar is Lord!” As I understand it, this is the unifying cry, that keeps together a far flung empire, under the power & might of Rome, under her leadership (& her WAY) incarnate.
