And he was saying then to them, "No lamp 

is brought in(to a place) so that it might 

be put into a water-closet damp, 

or under basket, it's given some height!

It's not brought in to underneath a bed.

And isn't it put onto a lampstand?

Like maybe think of presents for a wed-

ding, or a birthday party that's at hand,

 

they're often wrapped and hidden - just at first! 

But not because they aren't meant to be seen.

They're only wrapped to heighten (not to burst!)

desire and guessing fun. Know what I mean?

 

For there is nothing hidden that won't be

made obvious to ev'ryone around,

No secret thing that's done so none can see,

will stay that way, the light will show it "found"!

"If anyone has ears to hear,..." he said,

then he went on and copied, with no fear,

"Let there be.. light.." so eyes, (not gone to bed)

could see. And he says now, just "let them hear!"

And he was saying to them, "Careful now,

with what you hear, and maybe how you do,

for then the measure you use to, somehow,

make meaning, will be what is used for you,

your method or your stance, will also be 

then added to, as has been done by  you

So see that you are quick at listening,

to what they say: in words, and what they do.

A secret law of life, to swallow down

is "Those who have, will find they're given more

and those who do not have (don't sit and frown!)

will find that stuff is taken from their shore!

 

So learn to count the things that you now have,

and build upon those opportunities.
