according to Mark - 5

Pericopae 8&9 - Jesus heals (privately) on the Sabbath; the public hears & comes to him after Sabbath is over (i.e. @ sunset).

And straightaway from  synagogue they went

into the home of Simon and Andrew,

along with James and John, but news was sent

(and straightaway) to him, from those who knew;

for Simon's lady's mum was there a-bed

with fever (hot, and weak, she could not stand)

& having come to her (she's not yet dead)

he raised her up, when taken by the hand -

the fever left (behind?), & she went on

(as she was want to do) and served them all!

But when the sun had set (the day was done,

-  their sabbath day was over), at night fall,

the town began to bring to him (what for?)

the sick, and demonized, they brought them all,

until was all the city at the door

a crowd (was all together - not so small)!

He healed the many sick, of various

diseases, many demons he threw out,

but wouldn't let them speak (vicarious-

ly), just because they knew him (and could shout)!

32Ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης, ὅτε ἔδυ ὁ ἥλιος, ἔφερον πρὸς αὐτὸν πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας καὶ τοὺς δαιμονιζομένους· 33καὶ ἦν ὅλη ἡ πόλις ἐπισυνηγμένη πρὸς τὴν θύραν. 34καὶ ἐθεράπευσεν πολλοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ποικίλαις νόσοις καὶ δαιμόνια πολλὰ ἐξέβαλεν καὶ οὐκ ἤφιεν λαλεῖν τὰ δαιμόνια, ὅτι ᾔδεισαν αὐτόν.
